BERGUETTE CHURCHYARD - CWGC

Location information

Berguette is a small village 8 kilometres south-east of Aire-sur-la-Lys in the Pas de Calais. The Communal Cemetery surrounds the church which is in the centre of the village. The Commonwealth War Graves Plot, containing the majority of the war graves, will be found on the south side of the cemetery near the Cross of Sacrifice. The other burials are scattered within the cemetery.

History information

There are now nearly 30, 1914-18 war casualties commemorated in this site. One of whom fell in 1915, and the others in 1918.
