Location information
St Germain-au-Mont-d'Or is a village 14.5 kilometres north of Lyon. The Cemetery is situated to the east of the village on the Rue du Souvenir, on a hill overlooking the River Saone. The Extension is situated on the west side of the Communal Cemetery.

The register is available in the Mairie on Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9.00 to 12.00 and 15.00 to 17.45 -

History information
The cemetery was begun in October 1917, and used by a Rest Camp and a small British Hospital until November 1919. There are now over 100, 1914-18 and over 10, 1939-45 war casualties commemorated in this site. The cemetery covers an area of 1,169 square metres and is enclosed by a stone rubble wall.
