Location information

Edinburgh Morningside Cemetery lies to the south of Edinburgh City Centre in the district of Morningside. From Edinburgh City Bypass (the A720) exit at the Lothianburn Junction onto Biggar Road (the A702) and head towards Edinburgh City Centre. Follow the A702 (which becomes Comiston Road) for 5 miles, then turn left onto Morningside Drive. The cemetery runs parallel to this road on the right hand side. The main cemetery entrance will be found on the right hand side of the road a short distance beyond the junction with Ethel Terrace. The nearest mainline railway station is Edinburgh Waverley and there is good public bus service that passes close to the cemetery.
