Tirurangadi is a town under Malappuram District of Kerala. It is located 25 km West of Malappuram, the district headquarters and 40 km South of Calicut. The nearest airport is at Calicut which has daily flights from Chennai and Mumbai. There are also daily overnight trains from Chennai.

Visiting information

The grave of 2nd Lt. WRM Johnstone, who is buried with Asst. Superintendent of Police William JD Rowley, is in a small enclosure protected by iron railings, between the police station and the former Magistrate's Court (the Taluk, now a museum). The site is 2 Kms West of the Panchayat graves.
