Punjab Registers Book Of Remembrance

History information

The Punjab Registers Book of Remembrance commemorates casualties raised from across the Punjab who served during the First World War and whose names were recorded in what are colloquially known as the Punjab Registers, now housed in the Lahore Museum (Pakistan). Those remembered here were not formerly recorded by the Commonwealth War Graves Commission and are presently commemorated solely by their database entry. The Commission will continue investigations to determine the location of their lasting physical commemoration.
