Location information
Deir Sneid is 10 kilometres North-East of Gaza. The cemetery stands on the North side of the Muhammadan Cemetery.

History information
Deir Sneid was captured by the 52nd (Lowland) Division and Indian Cavalry on 8 November 1917. Number 35 Casualty Clearing Station arrived later in the month and at about the same time, an Egyptian Labour Corps camp and hospital were established.
The cemetery contains 192 burials, all Egyptian Labour Corps, but none identified by name.
