Location information
The cemetery, belonging to the Corporation, is on the North-West side of the town, at the crossing of the Little Common-Catsfield and Hooe-Sidley Green roads. It was made in 1900, and covers 34 acres. The South African Heavy Artillery was at Bexhill in 1915; Princess Patricia's Canadian Convalescent Hospital and other Canadian units and schools were here later.
History information
There are 30 Commonwealth burials of the 1914-18 war here. There are a further 21 burials of the 1939-45 war, 1 of which is an unidentified seaman of the Merchant Navy.
