Location information

Mbarara is a small town 270 kilometres to the south-west of Kampala. The churchyard, known locally as Kamukuzi Church, can be found by passing through the town, passing the police station on the left. About 3 kilometres from the town centre, turn right at the main junction where there are signs for the Lake View Hotel, Mbarara Travellers Hotel and many others. This is the road to Kasese though it is not marked. After 1 kilometre past the Total petrol station on the left and shops and buildings on the right, just past a white sign on the right labelled "Works Dept. Mbarara District Administration", take the road to the right. Proceed a short distance up the hill and take the first dirt track left amongst a number of buildings. The church is about 200 metres up and over this track.
