Hindley Cemetery - War Graves Week tours

War Graves Week is an initiative aimed at encouraging people from the local community to come together and discover the World War heritage on their doorstep – learning about the stories of those commemorated by the CWGC and the skills, dedication and expertise of those CWGC staff and volunteers who work to keep their memory alive.

MEETING POINT: Meet at the Chapel in the centre of the cemetery.

Hindley Cemetery contains 31 casualties from both the First and Second World Wars.

Parking on-site; Parking nearby; No facilities or toilets; Not wheelchair/pushchair friendly as the graves are situated off the paths and on very uneven ground.

Please dress appropriately for the weather and wear sensible shoes. There are no refreshments so please bring water.
