Make your own commemorative wreath at the Menin Gate Café

Take part in our willow wreath‑making workshop. Under the guidance of our team, you will create your own handcrafted wreath using natural willow and dried flowers.

Participants are welcome to design a personal commemorative wreath to lay at the grave of a soldier or to place at one of the memorial sites in and around Ypres. Each wreath is fully biodegradable and made with great care, making it both a thoughtful tribute and a meaningful creative experience.

Join us to craft something beautiful, personal, and respectful. If you prefer, you can also take your wreath home as a lasting reminder of your visit.

Practical information: Please wear an apron or clothes that may get dirty. We will provide a pair of garden scissors. All materials are included in the ticket price.

Dates: 15 and 16 August, twice a day at 15:00 and 18:00.
