Location information

Nieuw-Scheemda, about 6 kilometres north-north-west of and administered by Scheemda, is 31 kilometres east of Groningen on a minor road to Termunten. The churchyard is in the centre of the village, on the eastern side of the road to Nieuwolda. By the entrance, marked by a permanent memorial erected by the local authorities, is the grave of an Australian airman.
