Location information
Jinja is the second largest town in Uganda, near the site of the Owen Falls Dam over the outfall of the River Nile from Lake Victoria. Jinja is 80 kilometres east of Kampala on the road to Tororo and Kenya. St Joseph's Cathedral is set on a hill to the north of the town, about 2 kilometres from the main Jinja to Tororo road. The single war grave will be found 30 metres to the south of the cathedral.
